LEWISTON – Viola B. Dehaies, 93, a resident of 27 8th St., Auburn, died Thursday, Feb. 15, at Marshwood Health Care Facility after a long illness.
She was born in Van Buren, Sept. 2, 1913, the daughter of Edmund and Suzanne (Violette) Bard.
She was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community, the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Mary’s Hospital, and in 1961 began volunteering for St. Mary’s Hospital and continued for many years.
She was a member of the New Auburn Senior Citizens and was an avid bowler.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Marquis of Auburn and Philip Marquis, and his wife, Florine, of Lewiston; one daughter, June Fournier of Auburn; one brother, Roy Dubay of Portland; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
