Having known Laurent Gilbert Sr. for many years, I was thrilled to learn of his campaign for mayor of Lewiston. Honestly, I cannot think of a more qualified person for the job. His sense of honor, his love of family and country and his ability to lead, coupled with his fierce devotion to civic duty, will elevate this city to a new and exciting level.

Gilbert is, after all, the consummate civil servant. His experience as Lewiston police chief, U.S. marshal, lecturer and adviser to many will bring much to Lewiston.
