LEWISTON – The Oak Park Tenants Association held election recently. The new officers for the coming year are: Gerald Labrie, president; Norm Marcoux, vice president; Lionel Morency, treasurer; Irene Biron, secretary and activities; Marguerite Lacasse, assistant secretary; Anita Dostie, Armand Lebrun, Roger McKeone and Roger Sutton, directors.
The new officers were sworn in by Jill Child, office manager. A Hospitality Committee was reinstated, with Claudette Marcoux and Jeannine McKeone in charge, and Theresa Garant Champlain.
A meal of corned beef and cabbage followed by entertainment is being planned for St. Patrick’s Day. The committee is also making plans for Easter, Mother’s Day and Mother of the Year and Father’s Day and Father of the Year. There will be a cookout in the courtyard, a possible concert and the annual yard and bake sale.
Oak Park Housing is located at the corner of Oak and Park streets.
