EFFINGHAM, N.H. (AP) – A 911 call from a 4-year-old helped police end a domestic dispute during the weekend, investigators say.
Police believe the youngster dialed 911 Sunday morning, then hung up. The emergency system provides the location of the caller, and when a state trooper responded, he reported seeing Kyle Sloper, 21, and his girlfriend arguing.
The woman said she and their son tried to get away from Sloper in their car, but that he commandeered the car and forced them back into the house. Sloper was arrested after a brief struggle in the house. He’s charged with assault, reckless conduct and resisting arrest.
