AUBURN – Shawn Hird led all players with a hat-trick and two assists as Edward Little blanked the Lisbon/Oak Hill hockey team 12-0 in hockey action Monday evening.

Billy Brewster and Corey Binette each had a pair of goals, while Corey LaRue contributed one goal and four assists. Seth Champagne, Craig Michaud, Derek Racine, and Adam Lutz rounded out the scoring effort for the Eddies.

Adam Loudermilk turned away all 15 shots he faced for the shutout, while Cam Blouin made 33 saves in net for the Lisbon/Oak Hill effort.

St. Dom’s 5, Thornton 2

BIDDEFORD – Five different Saints scored and Nate Brown turned back 16 of the 18 shots he faced to lead St. Dom’s to an important 5-2 win over Thornton Academy on Monday at Biddeford Ice Arena.

D.J. Morin and Ben Randall had a goal and an assist each and Alex Tyburski had a pair of helpers for the Saints (10-8-1). Andrew Gwarjanski, Simon Hebert and Sheldon Roy also scored in the win.

Ryan Prescott had both goals for the Trojans (5-14-1), and Dan Laskey stopped 36 of 41 shots in the loss.

Waterville 4, Lewiston 1

WATERVILLE – Harry Pollard scored a pair of power-play goals in the first period to lead Waterville to a 4-1 triumph over Lewiston.

Three of the Panthers’ goals came on power plays.

After Pollard gave Waterville a 2-0 lead after one period, the Blue Devils upped the tempo innthe second period, but could only get one of 166 shots past goalie Nolan McDonald in the middle frame. Mike Sarrazin scored for Lewiston on a pass from Devan McLellan with 1:14 left in the period.

Waterville put the game away with another power-play goal early in the third.

McDonald finished with 30 saves, while Dylan Labonte made 18 saves for the Devils.
