HARRISON – The sixth annual Western Maine Fish and Game Ice Fishing Derby is scheduled for March 3-4 at Long Lake. Saturday’s times are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration and information is available at The Village Tie-up and the Market Basket in Harrison. Registration will also be available at the head of Long Lake on the days of the derby. Registration ends at noon Sunday.

A prize of $50 will be awarded for the largest fish in the following categories: trout, togue, salmon, pickerel, cusk and bass.

Entry fee is $5, with no charge for children 12-under. Junior category prizes will be awarded.

All State of Maine ice fishing regulations will be in effect, including daily bag limits.
