NEW GLOUCESTER – Singer-songwriter Rebecca Wing will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Village Coffeehouse at the New Gloucester Congregational Church. With three CD’s behind her, Wing has explored her music through Eastern spirituality and traditional jazz. An accomplished pianist and vocalist, her music is sometimes haunting, sometimes energetic.
Wing’s appearance marks the beginning of a series of concerts planned for the first Saturday of every month into June. Future artists include local favorite Jim Gallant, a Youth Talent night and a night of eclectic acoustic with Freeport-based Pound of Tea.
The Village Coffeehouse will take the summer off, with plans to return in the fall.
Tickets available at the door. Proceeds benefit the New Gloucester Congregational Church.
