It is time for some new blood in Lewiston politics. Larry Gilbert is an excellent choice for Lewiston’s next mayor.

Gilbert has been a police chief, a U.S. marshal, and is now involved in teaching police and sheriff offices, through the Institute for Public Safety Innovation, new ways of dealing with our increased crime rate relating to illegal drugs, domestic violence and homeland security.

His life has been dedicated to the safety and security of Maine people, and I believe he would serve the citizens of Lewiston with the same commitment.

I’m voting for Larry Gilbert.
