When you are young you cannot wait to grow up, you get to do all the things that your older siblings get to do. If only you were older you could stay up late on a school night, watch television when ever you wanted. If only you were older you would get to drive a new car, have your sweet sixteen. If only you were older you could drive yourself where ever you wanted to and move away from home and go to collage. If only you were older and could get a cool job and a nice house. If only you were older you could get married and have kids. If only you were older and could send your kids off on their own and retire. If only you were older you could take a vacation to where ever you wanted. If only you were older and could stay at home with your loved one. If only you were older you could be that cute little couple in the nursing home. talking and wishing that if only you were young again and didn’t wish your years away you could have lived your life to the fullest.
