GRAY – Scott A. Libbey, 41, of Gray, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 15.

He was born Feb. 6, 1966, at Westbrook Hospital, a son of Danaand Priscilla (Patterson) Libbey.

He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and animals.

He married Alison Laramee on Sept. 6, 2003.

Self-employed as a tile layer, his reputation for meticulous, excellent work was well-known among regional tradespeople. He was a gifted tradesman.

He was predeceased by Remington, his father Dana, a brother, Dana and a sister, Fern.

He is survived by his wife Alison (Laramee) Libbey of Gray and Sable; two sons, Christopher of Auburn, and Devan of Falmouth; his mother, Priscilla of Gray; three sisters, Lynn Tibbetts and her husband, Chet, of Gray, Susan Arraujo of Dover-Foxcroft, and Jane Mascari of Stone Mountain, Ga.; one brother, Peter of northern Maine; several nieces and nephews; and many caring and supportive friends.
