BRUNSWICK – Diane Claire White Raye, age 63, of Brunswick, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, at her residence.

She was born in Brunswick on Oct. 4, 1943, the daughter of Leroy and Helen Minott White. She attended local schools and graduated from Brunswick High School.

She worked for several years as a secretary at Brunswick High School. She also operated a day care from her home.

She was a member of the Durham Friends Meeting House and had served as a state coordinator for the Fresh Air Fund for which she volunteered. She traveled all over the state looking for host families for the Fresh Air Fund, which she was also credited with initiating in the Farmington area. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Dennis M. White; and two sisters, Donna L. Coffey and Doreen S. Richardson.

Surviving are her son, William Raye, of Topsham; her daughter, Heidi Osgood, of Jay; a brother, David White, of Florida; three grandchildren, Colton Webster, Courtney Webster and MacKenzie Osgood; and many nieces and nephews.
