AUBURN – Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre will hold auditions for “A Few Good Men” Sunday, March 11, and Tuesday, March 13, at Great Falls Performing Arts Center. Performance dates are June 1-10.
“A Few Good Men,” written by Aaron Sorkin of “West Wing” fame, won the Outer Critics Circle in 1989. It was made into a movie in 1992 with a multistar cast, including Tom Cruise, Kevin Pollack, Demi Moore, Jack Nicholson, Kevin Bacon, and Keiffer Sutherland.
Directed by John Blanchette, the play is about two young marines on trial for their complicity in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay. The play contains strong language.
There are roles for 13 men and one woman, plus many extras. There are strict requirements for casting. For more information on character descriptions and requirements, go online to the theater’s Web site, www.laCLT.com. A perusal script may be obtained by calling the box office at 783-0958.
