• A truck driven by Paul A. Davidson, 52, of Greene, struck the back of a van driven by Angelika M. Knaus, 45, of Monmouth, while Knaus was stopped in traffic at 4:50 p.m. Thursday on Main Street, near Strawberry Avenue. The collision forced Knaus’ vehicle to strike the back of a pickup driven by Erwin G. Heath, 79, of Greene, whose vehicle then struck the back of a car driven by Ashley N. Mills, 20, of Lewiston. Damage to Davidson’s 1988 Dodge was estimated at $1,500; to Knaus’ 2002 Dodge, $4,500; to Heath’s 2001 Dodge, $1,500, and to Mills’ 2001 Honda, $1,200.

• A car driven by Diane A. Beaulieu, 59, of Lewiston, sideswiped parked cars owned by Amanda A. Labonte, 38, of Lewiston, and Marilyn E. Beauparlant, 52, of Lewiston. Damage to Beaulieu’s $2,000 Chevrolet was estimated at $3,000; to Labonte’s 2000 Audi, $1,000 and to Beauparlant’s 2007 Hyundai, $3,000.
