MARANA, Ariz. – The only streak at the Accenture Match Play Championship belongs to Geoff Ogilvy.

One day after Tiger Woods’ winning streak ended on the PGA Tour, Ogilvy won two more matches Saturday to make it 11 in a row and advance to the 36-hole championship match against Henrik Stenson of Sweden.

The 29-year-old Australian stayed hot with his putter in dispatching Paul Casey 5 and 4 in the quarterfinals, then Chad Campbell in the semifinals, 3-and-2.

With enough time to eat lunch, Stenson made short work of Trevor Immelman in the second session after dispatching Nick O’Hern, 1-up.

Funk back in front

Fred Funk shot a 64 Saturday and finished the third round of the Mayakoba Golf Classic holding a two-stroke lead over Jose Coceres, giving him a great chance to make the PGA Tour’s first trip to Mexico historic in another way. If Funk holds on, he’d join Craig Stadler as the only players to win on the regular tour after winning a seniors event.
