LEWISTON – Armand “Hamburg” C. Arsenault, 77, of Howe Street, Auburn, died Sunday, Feb. 25, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born in New Auburn on August 27, 1929, the son of Benonie and Sadie (Berube) Arsenault. He attended St. Louis School, and worked in the local textile industry, at the Hill Mill for 27 years. Prior to his retirement, he worked for 23 years at Superior Concrete as a carpenter and concrete form maker.

He was the husband of the former Lucille Beaule, whom he married on Nov. 17, 1951, and passed away on Feb. 5, 2007.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Church. He enjoyed carpentry, loved playing the harmonica, enjoyed traveling, working in and around his home, helping with crafts with his wife Lucille, and especially enjoyed being around his entire family.

He is survived by his son Paul Arsenault, and his wife, Linda, of Sabattus; one daughter, Joline Arsenault, of Litchfield; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by five brothers, Ernest, Alfred, Alphonse, Emile and George Arsenault; six sisters, Irene St. Hilaire, Alice Lachance, Rose Aubut, Solange Maiellette, Adrienne Belanger and Lillian Dupuis.
