Auburn – Blanche E. Welch, 76, of Auburn, passed away gently at home on Sunday, February 25.

She was born in Auburn, on May 11, 1930, the youngest child of Thurman and Grace Knight Sidelinger. After graduating from Edward Little High School, in 1948, she went on to marry Gordon E. Welch, in 1949, and they created a secure and loving home for their four children. Over the years she and her husband traveled to many places, but she always loved home and family above all. She did many things for others and was an example to her family of loyalty and selflessness.

She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Gordon; son, Larry Welch; daughters, Patte Kaminski, and husband, Mike, and Vicki O’Brien, and husband, James; grandchildren, Carol Sinclair, Todd Welch, Aaron Welch and Christian Kaminski, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her siblings, and eldest son, Brian.
