LEWISTON – Debra Lee Lachance, 47, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 25, at her home.
She was born in Brunswick, May 12, 1959, the daughter of Larry P. and Sandra M. Terrell Lachance. She was educated in Lisbon schools and graduated from Lisbon High School with the Class of 1977.
She worked for many years at local restaurants, including Graziano’s in Lisbon and Cathay Hut in Lewiston. Among her interests were playing pool, sewing and reading. She also had a love for cooking, and loved to cook her wonderful recipes for her family and friends. When she was younger, she also enjoyed baton twirling, where she was state champion.
She is survived by her life-long companion, Mike Swan of Lewiston; one daughter, Nicole Lachance of Lisbon Falls; three sons, Corey Lachance of Lewiston and Devan and Kerey Swan of Lewiston. She also leaves her mother and father, of Lisbon Falls. She is survived by one sister, Lisa, and her husband, Shawn Lachance Riley, of Bowdoinham; one brother, Kevin Lachance, of Lisbon Falls; her maternal grandmother, Germaine Terrell, of Lewiston and her paternal grandmother, Geraldine “Gerry” Lachance, of Lisbon Center; and many nieces and nephews.
