LEWISTON – Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 24, for Leo Whittingham at St. Joseph’s Church, following prayers at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Michael Seavey, with Fathers Stephen Concannon, Antonio Amato, and Lawrence Conley concelebrating. Father Concannon gave the homily, and Father Seavey recited prayers at the tomb of Mt. Hope Cemetery. The pallbearers were Stephen Taylor, RJ Sargent, Padaric Taylor, and Patrick Hopkins, all grandsons of the deceased, Tony Phenow, grandson-in-law, and Paul Henault, nephew. Following the entombment, the family returned to St. Joseph’s Church for a continuing celebration of Leo’s life in the church hall.
