Lewiston – Richard E. Lessard, 52, of Lewiston, died an untimely death on Friday, Feb., 23.
He was born on March 12, 1954, in Lewiston, son of Napoleon and Charlotte (Goulet) Lessard. He attended Lewiston Schools, and worked for Lessard Roofing and Siding for many years. He was a huge Beatles fan and loved listening to their music and enjoyed playing dice and cards. He also loved to spend time with his family, especially his wife and daughter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline T. Lessard, of Lewiston, whom he married on July 10, 1991; three children;, Karie Lessard, of Lewiston, Richard Murphy, of Auburn, and Dustin Lessard, of Lewiston; six grandchildren; his parents, Napoleon, and Charlotte Lessard, of Lewiston;; two brothers, George Lessard, and wife, Diane, of Lisbon, Paul Lessard ,and wife, Sue, of Auburn; sister, Charlene Arruda, of R.I., and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Veilleux, and a brother in-law Manny Arruda.
