Drivers needed

LEWISTON – Road to Recovery is an American Cancer Society service program that provides transportation for cancer patients to their treatments and home again.

Transportation is provided according to the needs and available resources in the community and the Lewiston/Auburn community is in need of more volunteer drivers.

If interested in becoming a volunteer driver, contact Bonnie Bickford at the American Cancer Society via e-mail [email protected] or call 1-800-464-3102, ext. 3729, for an application.

The American Cancer Society provides a simple training program and the opportunity to meet with fellow volunteers throughout the year. Volunteers may be provided help with fuel expenses.
