I’m concerned for what is happening to the town of Waterford. I have lived here 19 years and always thought that I would like to spend the rest of my life here. The surroundings, the people and the friendships that I have gained are a great value to me.

Lately, a few of our town officials have acted very unprofessionally and unfriendly to the folks of this town. I feel it is time for new leadership to take this town to a different way of life where the citizens get a say and are able to voice their opinion to our selectmen and receive positive feedback.

There seems to be a great deal of confrontation between officials and citizens at the town meetings. This rude behavior is unfair and uncalled for. It is time for a change of selectmen.

I believe John Bell will help positively with that change.
