ROXBURY – The Slippery Sliders Snowmobile Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the home of Sylvia and Raymond Touchette. Members and guests are welcome.

MEXICO – The annual World Day of Prayer service, to have been held today has been postponed to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at St. Theresa’s Church.

Center services

CANTON – The Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center Pastoral Committee is scheduling presiders, mediums and healers at its services. Sunday services are held at 11 a.m. at the old Canton Fire Station/Municipal Building followed by a potluck lunch. All are welcome.

Development classes are held at the church from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays. Call Shirley at 597-2595 for information.

Pinpoint of Light is affiliated with the National Spiritualist Association of Churches and the national convention will be held in Portland in October. Pinpoint of Light is participating in the planning and fundraising efforts. The church’s new mailing address is Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center, PO Box 69, Paris ME 04271.

Support group

CANTON – The River Valley Area cancer support group, “Lean On Me,” will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesdays, March 6 and 20, in the Rumford Hospital library. The newly organized support group is designed to help individuals ranging from newly diagnosed to those already coping with the disease.
