HARRISON – Fishermen of all ages will be congregating Saturday and Sunday for the 6th annual Western Maine Fish and Game Ice Fishing Derby on Long Lake.

Derby times are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. A prize of $50 each will be awarded for the largest fish in the following categories: trout, togue, salmon, pickerel, cusk and bass. There will also be Junior category prizes.

Entry fee is $5 with children 12-under fishing free.

Registration and information are available at The Village Tie-Up and the Market Basket in Harrison. Sign-ups will also be taken at the head of Long Lake on the days of the derby.
