LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Feb. 26 with 35 members present. The Seniors-Plus was served prior to the meeting. It consisted of chicken stew, coleslaw, breadsticks and tropical fruit.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the Armed Forces. Mary Groleau led in singing “America the Beautiful.”

The sick list included Dora Slovak and Gerry Richards. Members welcomed back Dianne Richard.

Psychologist Conrad Wurtz spoke on sleep disorders, and he will return on April 23 to discuss sleep problems. SeniorsPlus held a going-away party for Sandy Gregor on Feb. 27.

Members sang “Happy Birthday” to those who celebrated their birthday in February, including Jeannette Buck. Gloria Bickford, Gail Lachance, Eugene Pomerleau, William Chabot and Cecile Hathaway.

The seniors will hold their monthly beano game on Monday, March 5. On Monday, March 12, they will hold a St. Paddy’s Day party, and members will bring in assorted snacks and goodies to be shared along with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Members are asked to wear something green in observance of the day.

The 50-50 was won by Gloria Bickford and placemats, donated by Theresa Bilodeau, were won by Blanche Bilodeau. The meeting adjourned, and cards and games were played.
