LEWISTON – The wedding of Amanda Jean Swisher and Matthew Karl Reichel was held at 5 p.m. on Sept. 23 at the Bates College Chapel. Aggie Bisson, grandmother of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Reichel is the daughter of Thomas and Kelley Bisson of Turner. Mr. Reichel is the son of Nancy Pitcher of Poland and the late Stephen Reichel of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white gown with beads, a corset back and a four-foot train. She carried a cascade of red roses.

Heather Blanchard, best friend, was matron of honor, and Patrick Blanchard, best friend, was best man. Brett Bisson, brother of the bride, was an usher.

A reception followed at the Carriage House Plus in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Boothbay Harbor. They are residing in Lewiston.

The couple attended schools in Auburn and together they own and operate Reichel Distribution Inc.
