DURHAM – A Durham couple was injured, apparently not seriously, in a two-car crash at the intersection of Route 125 and Quaker Meetinghouse Road Saturday night.
According to Maine State Trooper Keith Frank, William Sennett, 42, of Durham and his wife, Emily, complained of pain and were transported to Central Maine Medical Center.
The other driver, Abigail Marsh, 16, of Brunswick, also complained of pain but did not require immediate medical attention.
Frank said Sennett was driving north on Route 125. Marsh told him she had stopped at the blinking light at the intersection, and believing it was a four-way stop, started across to Quaker Meetinghouse Road and the two vehicles collided.
Sennett’s 1999 Buick was totaled, and damage was estimated at $8,000 to Marsh’s 2003 Nissan.
