SOUTH PARIS – Margaret Berryment, 75, of Bryant Pond, died Saturday, March 3, at Market Square Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 6, 1932, the daughter of Freeman and Mable Allen Snow.

She was a graduate of Paris High School.

She married Herbert Berryment Jr. on June 25, 1950, and he predeceased her on Feb. 12, 1987.

She was a mother and homemaker, who worked at Stowell Spool Co. in Bryant Pond after her children had grown.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in South Paris, the Thalians Club at the church, Wednesday morning Bible study group, the Extension Club of Oxford County, Bryant Pond Senior Citizens Club, and Christian Womens United.

She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Karen and Daniel Asselin of Lewiston, and Terry and Curtis Cole of South Paris; five grandchildren, Ryan Wing, Thomas Wing, Timothy Cole, Jillian Cole, and Lisa Asselin; her older sister, Pearl Simmons of Auburn; a brother, Allen Snow of South Paris; a sister-in-law, Pat Snow of South Paris; two brother-in-laws, Raymond Berryment of Rumford, and Thomas and his wife, Genneth Berryment, of Bryant Pond; and several nieces and nephews.
