LEWISTON – Stanley Kordalski, 83, of Auburn, used up his last mulligan March 4, following a short illness.

He was born Sept. 27, 1923 in Salem, Mass.

He worked for Pioneer Plastics for 41 years. He married Margaret “Midge” McCarthy on April 24, 1947.

He was an avid golfer, winning the club championship at Peabody Country Club, Sanford Country Club and Martindale Country Club, where he was a member for more than 40 years. He was also a member of the VFW Hulett Post.

Golf was his passion, but he also loved the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his daughter, June Kordalski of South Berwick; sons and daughters-in-law Dave and Pat, and Paul and Kim, all of Auburn; a brother, Bill; grandchildren, Chad Kordalski, Evan Kordalski, Amy Alexander, Kara Kordalski, and Zac Cameron; and great-grandchildren, Blake, Ashley, and Haley Alexander.

His was predeceased by his wife, Midge, who passed away in 1999.
