West Poland – Carolyn L. Verrill, 72, of North Raymond Road, West Poland. died Friday, March 2, at her home after a long illness.

She was born in Damariscotta on Dec. 30, 1934, the daughter of Walter and Louise Blake Coffin. She attended schools in Wiscassett and worked in area shoe shops and babysat children in her home.

She was predeceased by her husband, Maynard W. Verrill. They were married on April 8, 1954. She really enjoyed Yahtzee, playing cards and sharing memories over coffee with her family and friends.

Survivors are her four children, Pauline Ridlon and husband Tony, of Oxford, Patricia Kimball and husband Kevin, of West Poland, Kenneth Verrill and wife Vicky, of Oxford and Marie Crowley and husband Jamie, of Weld; one sister, Rose Rice of South Paris; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Vera Thorne of West Poland.
