OES to meet

AUBURN – The annual meeting of Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.

A potluck supper will be held preceding the meeting at 6:15 p.m. Members are encouraged to attend.

Legion meeting

AUBURN – Alden Gayton Post 31, American Legion, and Auxiliary, 426 Washington St. North, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, March 12. Other military members and veterans are welcome. Members will plan for coming events. For more information, call 783-2340.

Bridge winners

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 5 were: first/second tie, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos with Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; third, Nancy Lindgren and Paul Sherman; fourth, Marta Clements and Luke Merry; fifth, Martine Begert and Mary Leahey; second in B, Alberta Turner and Helen Little; first in C, Claire Tewhey and Charlie Bartlett; second in C, Allie and Tom Boyer.
