About two weeks ago, an Unidentified Flying Object visited the Strong area. Yes, my wife and I saw it.

Now that “officials” have said they knew only of some F-16 military jets in the area – which were probably looking for the UFO – it should be safe to conclude the object was a UFO, as F-16s at 6,000 feet doesn’t match what we saw.

Our drive went from a store on Main Street, in downtown Strong, to Mill Street, to Lambert Hill Road, then toward Phillips, crossing the two streams in Strong to the next hill, and then right for about quarter-mile, then right once more, going back to Beal’s General Store. That’s where the UFO was, only hundreds of feet in the air, just a few hundred yards away from our home in Strong.

The last we saw of it, the many lights went out, two by two, one on each side, until only one light remained on in the middle. That must have been pointed at us, as I could see the light filament or gases dim then vanish, just like the whole UFO just vanished, no noise, no wind, no silhouette against the night sky.

Makes one wonder where the F-16s are when you need them.
