Bridgton – Janice L. Brown, 60, of South Paris, died on Wednesday, March 7, at Bridgton Hospital.

She was born in Skowhegan, on Feb. 17, 1947, the daughter of Donald and Pauline Hunt Hamlin. She graduated from Woodstock High School in 1964. She married Ervin “Dick” Brown on Nov. 1, 1974. They enjoyed 32 years of marriage.

She loved motorcycling, four-wheeling and snowmobiling. She also enjoyed camping, cookouts, dogs, Christmas lights year round, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Ervin “Dick” Brown, of South Paris; her mother, Pauline Moody; two daughters, Tina Hemingway and Kris Cary; a son, Ervin “Bub” Brown; stepchildren, Darleen Cossar, Darrin Brown and Doreen Brown; grandchildren, Dalton and Dionne Hemingway, Jordyn and Dennis Sanborn, Paul and Jeannie Cox, Tricia and Crystal Hadley, and Chelsea Brown; sisters, Margaret Lawerson and Jeannie Lagross; brothers, Keith Hamlin and Jerry Hamlin; nieces and nephews, Kenny, Rusty, Kim, Kip, Jeff, Butch, Jerry, Theresa and Lisa.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Randall C. Cary; and her father, Donald Hamlin. A special thank-you to Jim and Marie Bowden for their friendship and support.
