As a new resident of Maine, I had to write to say what a wonderful job the road crews do clearing all of the snow. This was my first winter experience here, and concern regarding cold and snow had me just a little skittish wondering how I would be able to get to and from work after a storm.
I leave my home very early in the morning and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised to see my road and the major roads already plowed by 5 a.m. That is not something I am used to, but I certainly appreciate.
All the fine people who managed to get out and clear the way for the rest of us to safely travel wherever we needed to go deserve abundant praise.
