AUGUSTA – Aime A. Moreau, 76, of Augusta and formerly of Lewiston died Thursday, March 8, at the Togus V.A. Medical Center after a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston Feb. 4, 1931, the son of Willie and Ida (Gendron) Moreau.

He was a disabled American veteran, serving his country in the Korean Conflict with the United States Army.

He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 22 of Lewiston. He also belonged to several local clubs and associations. He was an avid card player and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa Bolduc of Lewiston; a stepdaughter, Patricia Levesque and her husband, Edward, of Turner; two stepsons, Albert and his wife, Kathy Collins, of Auburn, Lucien Collins of Orlando, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Gerard Bolduc of Lewiston; two sisters, Irene Lanois and Doris Moreau, both of Lewiston; five step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Roland Bolduc.
