Sunday service

PARIS – “To Live in Truth” will be the sermon topic at the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, March 11, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris.

Marilyn Hammond will be the worship leader and will discuss the life of Sophia Lyon Fahs. Forest Perkins will direct the music and Renee Wales will lead the Sunday school. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Benefit dance

PARIS – A benefit dance for Norway fire victim Vira Micklon will be held from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the Paris Legion Hall on Church Street. Music will be provided by the Belairs. There will be hot dogs, soda and baked goods available as well as a 50/50 raffle.

Tickets are $10 a person. They are available at Parts and Pieces in Oxford, Androscoggin Bank, Paris, and at the door. The event is being sponsored by the Norway-Paris Lions Club.
