LEWISTON – Laurie St. Pierre, former owner of the Book Burrow and Café in Auburn, announces the grand opening of a new venture, Percy’s Burrow, a combination gift-toy-book-home décor store at the Lewiston Mall. The opening celebration is planned for Sunday through Saturday, March 11-17.

St. Pierre said the new location has better parking and lower operating costs. She attended the International Gift Show in New York City to select new products for the now year-round store and spent most of February restocking her store. The store will feature everything from children’s toys to World War I Army-Navy lighters; from WWI wooden propellers and clocks to chic ladies’ purses; from calligraphy pen sets, sealing wax and seals to giant dinosaurs and life-size dogs, lions and tigers; from books to plane and ship models.
