SABATTUS – On the heels of the premiere of his national TV special, comic Bob Marley returns to Maine Thursday, March 15, at Mixers, 136 Sabattus Road.

With his relentless touring, his popularity is increasing far beyond Maine and New England. He now sells out clubs and theaters around the country, including Washington, D.C., Denver and Tempe, Ariz.

He received major national exposure from “Comedy Central Presents Bob Marley,” his own half-hour special that premiered on the Comedy Central network Feb. 2.

Marley, 36, is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. He is glad he and his family moved from California back to Maine a couple years ago. Los Angeles, he said, was stifling creatively.

Marley’s show is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20. To order, call 375-4188.
