PORTLAND – Sandra L. Moore, 63, of Norway died Thursday, March 8, at Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 28, 1943, the daughter of Fred and Gertrude Hanscom Sawyer. She graduated from Mechanic Falls High School and had been employed as a deli manager for many years, most recently at the Oxford Wal-Mart.

She also babysat children in her home.

She was an avid NASCAR fan. She enjoyed the races at Oxford Plains Speedway, reading and bird watching.

She is survived by son, Walter Hildreth, of Falmouth; son, Jesse Sawyer and his wife, Kelly, of Wasilla, Alaska; daughter, Tammy Secore and her husband, David, of East Hampton, Conn.; son, Scott Moore and his wife, Wendy, of Portland, Conn.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Keene of Poland and Nancy Donlin of Bangor; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Fred, in 1978.
