TOGUS – Aime A. Moreau, 76, of Togus, and formerly of Lewiston, died Thursday, March 8, at the V.A. Medical Center after a long illness.
He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 4, 1931, the son of Willie and Ida (Gendron) Moreau.
He was a disabled American veteran, who served his country in the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 22 of Lewiston. He also belonged to several local clubs and associations.
He was an avid card player and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa Bolduc of Lewiston; a stepdaughter, Patricia Levesque and her husband, Edmond, of Turner; two stepsons, Albert and his wife, Cathy Collins, of Auburn, and Lucien Collins of Orlando, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Gerard Bolduc of Lewiston; two sisters, Irene Lanois and Doris Moreau, both of Lewiston; and five step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one brother-in-law, Roland Bolduc.
