I am incensed at the Bush administration’s impending decision to send additional troops and money into the failing fiasco in Iraq. I am more incensed that our Congress cannot get a handle on the machine that is so out of control. I am most incensed, however, that I, and hundreds of thousands like me – advocates, writers of letters, taxpayers, and most importantly, voters – seem, on the face of it, not to count.

This cannot possibly continue. Our country is bleeding to death financially, as well as physically.

We must stop this thinking that a bigger stick is the better way; stop pretending that fighting ideology is the same as fighting an individual, and can be determined without dialogue. Stop the fiasco in Iraq and bring our troops home.
