LEWISTON – Local author George Melvin will give an illustrated talk and sign copies of his newly published “Trackside Grand Trunk New England Lines” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the Lewiston Public Library.

This history of the Grand Trunk Railroad, which once connected Lewiston and Portland with Canada, is illustrated with 260 color photos by John Ames.

Co-sponsored by the Great Falls Model Railroad Club, this event is open to the public free of charge in Callahan Hall.
