AUBURN – Custom Metal Fabrication is the regular season champion in the Recreational Division of the L-A Senior Hockey League at Ingersoll Arena.

Custom Metal compiled a 16-5-0 record for 32 points, 9 better than second place Taylor Brook Dental.

In final regular season action Friday, Taylor Brook Dental defeated Budget Document Technology 5-3; Custom Metal Fab beat Aggreko 5-2; and Play It Again Sports outlasted Radio City 7-5.

Playoffs began Monday, as follows: Game 1, Custom Metal (1) vs Taylor Brook Dental (2); Game 2, Play It Again Sports (3) vs Budget Document Technology (6); Game 3, Aggreko (4) vs Radio City (5).

Playoffs resume Friday, as follows: Game 4, 7:30, Game 1 Winner vs Game 2 Winner; Game 5, 8:45, Loser Game 1 vs Winner Game 3; 10:00, Consolation Game, the losers of Games 2 and 3.

Championship contest is scheduled for Sunday, March 18 at 6 p.m., the winners of Games 4 and 5.

Competitive Division

The Competitive Division was set to begin its playoffs Sunday, as follows: Game 1, Blue Line Sports (1) vs Team Bud Light (2); Game 2, St. Laurent & Son (3) vs Independent Construction (6); Game 3, DMD Barbaricks (4) vs River Ratts (5).

On Wednesday, the winners of the first 2 games will clash at 7:30, followed at 8:45 by a meeting between the Loser of 1 and the Winner of 3. At 10:00, it’ll be a consolation game between the Losers of 2 and 3.

Championship game is set for Sunday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m., matching the winners of Wednesday’s first 2 games.
