Class luncheon

Movie night
RUMFORD – Friends of the Rumford Library will air the 1939 comedy-drama, “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,” at 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, as part of its old-film series, in the library public room.
James Stewart plays the leading role in the award-winning movie that pitted idealism against corruption in Washington politics. Duration is 130 minutes. Refreshments and the film are free to the public.
Bottle drive
PERU – The Youth Group will have a bottle drive from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17. Proceeds will benefit the Crisis Task Force Food Pantry.
