Dr. William Hiss of Bates College and Patti Gagne, club president, are shown at a recent meeting of the Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club. Hiss addressed the club concerning Bates’ 150-year relationship with Lewiston-Auburn and presented a slide show. Hiss is a Bates graduate and holds degrees from Harvard and Tufts universities. He has served as supervisor of admissions and financial aid in the past and is currently vice president of external affairs and official L/A tour guide for incoming Bates freshmen.
