AUBURN – Lillian P. Dupont, 99, of The Sarah Frye Home and formerly of 143 Mill St. in Auburn, passed away Tuesday morning, March 13, at Hospice House with family at her side.

She was born in Epping, N.H., on Sept. 30, 1907, a daughter of Theffle and Hermina (Dupont) Marcoux. She was educated in Hew Hampshire schools but was a resident of this community most of her adult life.

On May 20, 1929, she married Donozor Dupont, who passed away March 20, 1960. After getting married, Mrs. Dupont worked as a homemaker as she and her husband raised their three daughters.

She was a member of St. Louis Church and past president of the Ladies of Ste. Anne, as well as a member of New Auburn Senior Citizens and Covenant 50.

She leaves three daughters, Anita Durant of Stafford Springs, Conn., Patricia Dupont of Medway, and Marie Bernatchez of Auburn; six grandchildren, Robert Bernatchez and wife, Julie, of North Carolina, Suzanne Gagne and husband, Harvey, Richard Bernatchez and wife, Pierette, Gerry Bernatchez and wife, Stephanie, and Joline Tate and husband, Etheridge, all of Auburn, and Patricia McCallister and husband, Clinton, of Connecticut; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Laurea Ouellette of Lewiston, and Alice Davala and husband, Michael, of Derry, N.H.

She was predeceased by a brother, George Marcoux; two sisters, Annette Albert and Mary Ouellette; an infant grandson; and two sons-in-law, Julien Bernatchez and John Durant.
