Norway – Margaret M. Doore, 87, of Waterford, died on March 14, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was born in Waterford on Feb. 27, 1920, the daughter of Augustus G. and Lillian Ray Morse. She attended Waterford schools and graduated from Norway High School.

She had been a homemaker, a waitress in Fla., an apple picker and packer, at Fillebrown Orchards, and worked at B. E. Cole and other area shoe shops. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, attended Waterford Congregational Church and was a life member of the Waterford Historical Society. She married George S. Doore Sr.

She is survived by two sons, George S. Doore Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann, of LaMarque, Texas. and Thomas Doore and his wife, Donna, of Augusta; four grandchildren, Marilynn VanDunk, of Brooklyn, N.Y., Marianne Foster, of Sugarland, Texas, Sarah Davies, of Harpswell, and Mason Doore, of Augusta; five great-grandchildren, Amanda Foster, Chloe Foster, Edward VanDunk, Cal Davies and Ella Sebec Davies; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Goodwin and her husband, George, of Waterford and Topsham, and Nancy Smith, of Dover-Foxcroft; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband.
