LEWISTON – Bowl For Kids Sake is being held on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25, at Spare-Time Recreation Center.
Each bowler in teams of four raises pledges for Big Brothers Big Sisters. The event offers prizes for the most money raised by a youth bowler, adult bowler and bowling team. There are also drawings for prizes donated by area businesses.
Those who would like to create a bowling team and reserve a bowling lane or obtain more information on Bowl For Kids Sake should call the Child Health Center at 782-5437, ext. 76, or via e-mail at ron.hood@childhealthcenter.org.
There are still sponsorships available for businesses that want to be an event supporter.
Big Brothers Big Sisters offers community and school-based mentoring programs throughout Androscoggin County. All money raised at Bowl For Kids Sake stays in Androscoggin County to keep the mentoring programs going.
