WEST PARIS – Percy Alton Chapman, 93, formerly of Peru, died on Tuesday, March 13, at Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris.
He was born on June 13, 1913, in Dexter, the son of Ray and Ida M. (Foster) Chapman.
He married Irene Estella Farrar on June 17, 1935, in Peru. For many years he was a meter reader and worked in the small electrical repair department, of Central Maine Power Co.
He is survived by two children, Steven R. Chapman and his wife, Uldarica, of Peru, and Sharon L. Nowland and her husband, H. Thomas, of Rumford; three grandchildren, Floyd Chapman, Sarah Nowland Keffer, and John Nowland.
He was predeceased by his wife, Irene.
