LIVERMORE FALLS – Gary Michael Kelly, 59, a resident of Wheeler Street, Livermore Falls, peacefully passed on to Heaven early Thursday morning, March 15, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Jay on June 16, 1947, the son of John and Cora (Taylor) Kelly. He attended Livermore Falls High School before serving in the U.S. Navy for four years.

He was married to Cynthia Grace (Quinell) Kelly for more than 17 years before she passed away on Jan. 19, 1987, due to injuries sustained in a car accident. They had two children, a son, Daniel G. Kelly, and a daughter, Jami Seitz.

He worked in retail sales for local lumber and supply companies for more than 30 years. He also served as the code enforcement officer of Livermore Falls for a short time.

He enjoyed camping at Mt. Blue, fishing and working on cars, especially his Jeep. Most of all, he loved his family, for whom he was always ready to help with anything they needed, and always looked forward to the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Gary will be sadly missed by those he left behind.

He is survived by a son, Daniel G. Kelly of Livermore Falls; a daughter, Jami (Kelly) Seitz and her husband, Jim, who loved and cared for him like he was his own dad, of Livermore Falls; his loving companion of 13 years, Becky Spydell of Vienna; three grandchildren, Trey, Jordan and Kimberly Seitz; three brothers, Don Kelly and his wife, Marilyn, of Missouri, Wendell Kelly and his wife, Nancy, of Lewiston, and Jim Kelly and his wife, Nilda, of Brazil; three sisters, Kathy Richard and her husband, Robert, of Wilton, Linda Jennings and her husband, Rodney, of Leeds, and Janice Spiller of Strong; Becky’s daughters, Brandi Boucher and Leann Crockett; and Leann’s daughters, Dakota and Denver Crockett.
