Wintery wrath will not deter three annual town meetings scheduled for today in Oxford County.

“The show will go on,” said Joan Clough, town clerk at Hebron.

The Hebron meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Hebron Station School.

Phil Covelli, town manager in Fryeburg, said the town meeting will take place on time. If there is low turnout, the meeting will be rescheduled. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the fire station.

Christine Carone, town clerk of Stow, foresees no delay in that town’s annual meeting. Stow residents will meet at 1 p.m. at the town’s municipal building.

A winter storm advisory has been issued for the area. Weather forecasts Friday predicted a foot or more of snow accumulation with high chances of wintry mix today.
